Well, in only 5 more days, I'll be doing this:
And the problem with having told so many people about it is that it's kinda difficult to back out at this point.
I'm a little nervous about my training. I've hit all the long runs, but I haven't been terribly diligent about all the short runs. Do you think it'll matter? I'm also carrying about 10 more pounds than I was last year. THAT'S something on my agenda of things to figure out for next week.
I'm not guessing I'll beat my personal record from last year of 4:19. But I think I'll finish. And as they say in Evergreen:
