Famous Movie Line Contest

Ok- If you want to play:

Go here and do the quiz (it's about 5 questions) and see what movie your love life is like. Then come back and don't tell the movie, just the quote from under it. Then we'll see if we can guess.

I'll even send a little prize in the mail to the person who guesses the most right. How's that for incentive? Hey- at least it would be something FUN in the mail, right?

Here's my quote:

"Kiss me. Kiss me as if it were the last time."

Everyone is of course on their honor not to cheat and just google them!! And thanks Kathleen for the quiz link!

Ok guesses welcome - to be in the contest, though, you have to post your own quote, too!

Well, I know your movie only because my quote is also "Kiss me. Kiss me as if it were the last time." What a fun little quiz.

Happy Saturday.

"i want the fairytale" is what came up for me this time. i did this a couple months back, but came up with a different answer then. i know this kiss me quote, man, i just can't remember which movie, but i know the line, but i can't remember.

cute contest randi. yes, i did enjoy the concept of "pay it forward." great idea that you are paying it forward now. congrats on winning my runner-up prize in my give away. thanks for saying i inspired you. anytime you want a nudge to read the scriptures, i am here for you. look up 3 N 27:27 -- good stuff today. thanks for the sweet emails lately.

you so rock friend, kathleen :)

I want the fairytale--that's what I got. I'm not surprised. Maybe that's why I'm still single?

I love these quizzes. I've taken many of them. They're addicting.

Well, shoot. I'll bet just about anyone can guess mine:
"Since the invention of the kiss, there have only been five kisses that were rated the most passionate, the most pure. This one left them all behind."
Gotta admit, I do like kisses. :)

i know what crystal's quote is from! i just saw that this week on cable -- the princess bride!

and kristen's of course is from the same thing mine was from :)

i am soooo curious to know what the kiss me as if it were the last time was from!

happy saturday randi! kathleen

I now know your movie, because mine is the same...
"Kiss me. Kiss me as if it were the last time."

Millerjk! Welcome to the blog!

Melia and Millerjk did you know the movie before you took the quiz?

Crystal- that's one of my favorites.

Kathleen and Kristin:"I want the fairytale". I CAN'T think what that movie is!!

Wouldn't it be lame if there were only the three movies to pick from?

"A relationship, I think, is like a shark. You know? It has to constantly move forward or it dies.

Okay, well there's definitely more than three movies because my quote is not the same as anyone elses. . .And I've never even seen this movie. . .

Oooh....soooooo fun. I love stuff like this.

I go the shark line too. So I now know what it is, although I've never seen it either.

Here are my guesses:
I want the fairy tale is Pretty Woman.

5 kisses is of course Princess Bride, as mentioned previously.

Kiss me as if it were the last time is said by the timeless Ingrid Bergman in the timeless Casablanca. I own that movie.

So there are at least 4 movies. I will be checking back and guessing obsessively. Hee hee.

I'm the kiss me, kiss me one, too. (And, I did not know the movie) I did know The Princess Bride. Should have known the "I want the Fairytale".

That was cute. Thanks.

I didn't know where the kiss me quote came from before I took the quiz. I have seen the movie, but it is not one of my favs.

I am familiar with the other movie quotes though except the shark one. I am interested to know that movie, but more interested to know what answers promted a movie about sharks for a love quiz.

hi randi:
i want the fairytale is from "pretty woman." not a guess, it really is from it. didn't want you to have to go to bed still wondering and wondering. sweet dreams friend, kathleen :)

So nobody's even got a guess for teh shark one yet? I guess me and Wiz go the market covered. . .

My quote is " Promise me you'll survive. That you wont give up, no matter what happens no matter how hopeless."

SO I went back and did the quiz again in an attempt to get more than 4 movies, or whatever. ( so now I can't guess anymore because I know most of them. And that shark one?? Oh brother.

Here's another quote:

"Would you like me to seduce you? Is that what you're trying to tell me?"

And it occurred to me that I never posted a cutoff time for this little party!
So the cutoff is Monday Oct 15 at 5pm mdt.
Good Luck!!

hi rand:
i know the answer to this one ... "Promise me you'll survive. That you won't give up, no matter what happens no matter how hopeless." that is from the "titantic" movie.

i have no idea what the "shark" and the "seduce" ones are from, but i am totally curious.

nighty night, kathleen :)

Survive - Titanic. Blagh.

Seduce - The Graduate. Oh, goodness I'm having fun.

Although I would never know the shark one if it hadn't been my quote. :)

I'm not gonna guess the movies because I am tired. To tired to put lines with movies. And I can't cheat. Which means I have to think. And I'm too tired to think.
