My Last Annoying Blogger Question...

That's false advertising right there in the title.

We all know that I will NEVER have a last annoying Blogger question. But thanks for humoring me anyway.

I have absolutely loved my Google Reader. In case you don't know what it is, it's a free subscription service that tells you whenever your favorite blogs are updated. So you don't have to keep clicking in to see.

(I know I may be killing my Statcounter numbers by giving this information!)

Anyway, you can set your blog to feed the full post, a partial post, or headlines only into the notification. It's very convenient. And did I mention it's free? (Although Google should totally pay me for all this advertising!)

So, my research says that people who use a reader are annoyed when they can't read the whole article, and they have to click into your website to finish the article.
So readers don't like it.

Bloggers OTOH, don't like the full feed, because then people read the article in the feeder and they never click on the actual website.

I do enjoy knowing how many people are reading by having them click in to finish the article. I follow quite a few blogs that use that setting and it doesn't bother me in the least.

Does it bother you?

nope, but I don't use it ;) I'm no help at all! I don't think it would bother me though because I'd want them to come to my site too.

Not at all! I refuse to read a blog without commenting on it, so I always have to click over anyway. =)

Same as Kimberly, I just click cuz I ALWAYS have something to say.

It doesn't bother me at all, because like Kimberly I usually always leave a comment. (I think we're all learning together, so I don't think you should worry about asking questions!!!)

Doesn't bother me... I've usually got something obnoxious or sarcastic to contribute to their blogs in comment form ;)

Doesn't bother me either. I like seeing the little chickie.

I don't even use that thing. Maybe you could write a post teaching us how to use it or how it works......

(I assume it's something you sign your blog up for? Or is every blog automatically on a feed? Ok, I'm dumb in this area....)

Okay, I guess I'll be the odd one out. It does bug me to have to click on the link. I love reading your blog, but sometimes I just don't have anything to add, or I don't have time to comment. But since everyone else doesn't mind, I guess I'll suffer through. :)
