Super Sunday

It just occurred to me that I have no idea who is playing in the Super Bowl this year. I think I remember something about New England, but I haven't heard a word about their opponent.

Which is kind of unlike me, because I really do enjoy football. As I get older, I watch it less and less, though.

But by golly I know that it's this Sunday, and I have a Super Bowl menu, thanks to my favorite cooking website The Pioneer Woman Cooks.

Upon reflection, it comes to mind that I now get all my news from a morning radio show - not a news one, just chit chat, my celebrity bff Glenn Beck, and reading blogs.

That's not scary or anything.

When you have children that live in Boston YOU KNOW who's playing in the Superbowl ; ) I love football, but we don't watch it. I love pioneer woman cooks and will have to check out what she has on there.

Sounds like you know just where to get your news ; )

I don't follow football. But I throw a mean Suberbowl party.

Meanwhile, the superbowl is HERE in MY TOWN and there's so much crazy fun stuff to do!!! ON Saturday, we're doing the Zoo-perbowl. he-he-he!

I LOVE Pioneer Woman... not only do I love her cooking, I just love her regular blog. I'm a dork though... I never comment :) Just lurk... have you tried any of her recipes? I never have. Just sat and drooled.
Ah... football... I'm pretty darn clueless on the subject. The only thing I know is that Green Bay is not in it... Hubby was disappointed. And San Diego didn't make it either... Southern California is in mourning. That is the extent of my knowlegde on football.

Pioneer Woman should have a warning or something like "looking at these pictures will me you go crazy...and hungry".

Honey, you know way more than me: I had no idea the SB is this Sunday.

Scary? Heck, no! ;)

The only thing I like about the Super Bowl is the commercials!

It's all about the commercials for me this year. None of the teams I like are playing. It's fun to be with family.

I'm just discovering Glenn Beck and I really enjoy him.

I only like to watch the commercials and eat yummy, fattening food.
Hey that's were I get my news also. Don't you just love Glen Beck. My husband(who's not LDS) got me listening to him. He bought his latest book and I snagged it from him and read it. Loved it, he's so funny!

My mom and I were just talking about this today.

I said, "Hmm. Isn't the super bowl tomorrow?"

She replied, "Yeah, I think so."

I then said, "Oh, you should make those eat little deviled eggs you used to..."

It was so non-chalant (how do you spell that?) but I'm wondering if I will get the eggs tomorrow? ;)

I have no idea who is playing...I just thought it was Super Sunday because its my birthday. I think it is great that everyone across the nation is celebrating it with Super Parties! or maybe it is to sit around and watch men knock each other down and throw a ball...but I'd like to think it is to celebrate wonderful me :)
