Disney Dilemma

So we're thinking about heading to California in the next couple of weeks! (yea!)
I've spent the day online trying to figure out how to get cheap tickets to theme parks, etc. There's a California Resident 2 day Disney pass that my grandparents - who are actual California residents- would help us buy. However, they won't be going to the parks with us, and it says you need proof of residency to use the tickets.

Oh wise internets - are there any other ways to get a deal out there?

Sorry, I'm no help--but I'm sure there is someone out there who can help you ; ) Good luck.

Do you know anyone in the Military? We have been able to purchase tickets at a discount through family members in the military. We are going in mid April. Can't wait! I actually won a trip from Get Away Today. They also have some discounted passes but they are not "cheap", just discounted! Good luck and have fun.

If I see some deals I'll let you know. You almost have to take out a second mortgage to go to Disneyland. ;)

I hope you have a great time. :)

Maybe at the local supermarket??

I once interviewed for a job where they gave an annual perk of tickets to Disney.

I didn't get the job.

Pout.

And that doesn't help you any unless you know someone who works in SoCal who might have extra tickets cluttering a desk drawer.

The Costco pkg is pretty good. How long are you planning on going for? There is a buy three days and get a 5 day pass special on right now.

Our credit card is a Disney rewards card so we only go to Disneyland when it is free for us, but you wouldn't have time to purchase enough for your family to go free soon enough. I know, doesn't make much sense. Sorry.

Have a great time. It is THE BEST!!!

We just got back from our 5 days of princess mania. We loved it. We did the whole Disney package, and they say you get a deal. Yeah right! good luck!

Okay, I already talked to Randi about this, but I have to post it for any other interested bloggers. Check out RideMax.com. We went with 4 kids last spring break and didn't stand in line for more than 15 min each day. It's completely worth the 20ish bucks. If you want more info, email me or ask Randi. It's completely amazing.

I don't know of any deals, but I'd love to hear about any good stuff you come across! I ♥ Disneyland more than just about anything! :)

Oooh!!! Disney Land! I am so jealous!!! That stinks that they make it so difficult to cheat the system :P
Do you have a Costco card? I know that at our Costco, they will have theme park tickets that are here for a discounted price, and I wonder if the Costco's in California would have Disneyland passes for cheaper...

We went there in December. We bought the City pass from Costco. It includes a three day park hopper pass to Disneyland/California adventure.
It also included tickets to Universal Studios and Sea World. If you are going to be there that long it's a pretty good deal.

I live in So Cal. and have an annual pass. I can verify that they do ask for verification of residence.

I do know that there are 2fer passes (both parks in 1 or 2 days) that you can get at V.ons and A.lbertsons and the like.

Hey-maybe when you're there I could come down there, too! You'd be my first ever blog-friend (is there a hyphen?) that I'd meet in person! :)
