I am so ready for spring this year. Usually, I start getting tired of winter about the end of February. This year, it was around the second week in January.

Utah winters are horrible! In Colorado, you get lots of snow and cold, but you'll also have a mix of some warm days in there.

Here, it gets cold in October, and stays cold until April. I pull the shades and curl into the fetal position every time they do the five-day forecast. And this winter has been the worst I've ever experienced here.

Zion, indeed!

crocuses are the Announcement of Spring. Ours come early here in the NorthWest. They make me soooo happy!!

I cannot wait for spring. We've finally had blue sky and sun, but no flowers yet. No snow, thank goodness, but no flowers. (I came over from LDS Blogging Women, by the way!)

Oh how pretty!

I wouldn't get too excited. You know how the Inter-mountain West likes to tease us with warm weather and then hit us with more snow.

Where I live we are starting to see blossoms on the trees. Spring makes me feel like the possibilities are endless. I really do love the crisp air and the cool sunny days. Running in the Spring is my favorite--I even look forward to getting up to run! There is nothing like it......

I love the first flowers of spring. They seem so foolhardy--especially when they get frozen by that freakish March snowstorm.

That is the best thing I've seen all day! (If you knew how much I despise the winter, you'd believe that!)
I watched a spring-training baseball game yesterday, too. COME ON SUMMER!

I live in Colorado too, and AMEN, Sister! I am SO glad we're having more springy days. At least this winter wasn't like last year, though, right??
