Busy, Busy, Busy

I know, right? Who isn't?

From here on out the next week should be pretty crazy. Houseguests, the cleaning that goes on before houseguests, packing, laundry that goes on before packing, then driving, and shopping, and bye-ing, and then more driving. Not to mention that I haven't even thought about what to serve at our little party on Saturday night. Nor shopped for it.

But we are proud, we're happy, and we're thrilled. (name it - 150 imaginary points)

And not having a traumatic weekend at all.

It will be so fun--even we all the pressure of all that you have to do. Enjoy each and every minute!!!

OH the stress of it all! My thoughts are with you this weekend. I hope you are able to sit back and enjoy as well because it will all be over before you know it.

I say saturday night serve pizza and a salad! You know you could even do those take and bakes from Sams.

When life gets busy I get stressed out and just endure getting through it and then I miss out on so much. I hope you are not like me and can enjoy it through all the busy-ness! Have a great week!

Planning and getting ready for parties is quite stressful, but they end up being so rewarding in the end. I love to have guests! It's just so hard to always make my house look perfect :S

Oh my goodness! Today is the big day! I am thinking of you and remembering how it was for us when our son left. I hope it's been a wonderful and memorable week for you and your family! :)

I did pretty well when Ty left...I was a bit weepy that day, but totally fine after that. Several days later I needed to do laundry, and I found a little bit in Ty's hamper and suddenly LOST IT! I was sobbing because it was the last time I got to mother him by helping with his laundry! RIDICULOUS! :0

My advice: have chocolate on hand just in case you experience something bizarre such as that! :)

You're doing a great job! It's more than I could do...but my son is only 10.

The quote is from Apollo 13, at the launch pad right after the rocket with Lovell, Haise and Freddo (can't remember his last name) blast off toward the moon. Freddo's wife is saying to Marilyn Lovell something like "I don't know how you've done this so many times before..." and Marilyn pointed out that the reporters were comeing, and reminded Mrs. Freddo to say that "we're proud, happy, and thrilled."

Good job, mom. Hang in there
