Irena Sendler

I love this clip, and not JUST because it's my celebrity BFF Glenn Beck. It's worth the 3 minutes just to remember that there are amazing people throughout history that never get the credit they deserve.

Doing good matters in the world.

It just does.

I say we rip that award away from Gore and give it to someone who actually deserves it.

I love stories about amazing people like this throughout history.

That was a great clip. Every time I see something that he has said, I'm impressed - maybe I'll even find out when he's actually on TV and watch a real program! Anyhow, I linked to you through Kristi - hope you don't mind! Drop on by mine and see the craziness that is our life!

My mom walked out of Glenn Beck's live show last night at intermission because she was bored to tears. I was supposed to go but didn't have a babysitter.

She said it was really disappointing and that he read everything from a SCRIPT? What the foo?

I've been listening to him since 2001 when he hit Houston radio. We've met him twice, gotten his autograph, attend the same homeschool group as his BFF Pat Gray, and have pics with him.

All that being said, I can only handle small doses of Glenn at a time.

Elastic-
Really? I loved it!! I thought he was pretty funny. And the first half was the best. The second half was a little more, uh, scripted and sort of tearily patriotic.
But it was all really good!

I saw another picture of her once. She looks like the sweetest lady. Such an inviting smile.

Thanks for the post. What an inspiration.

This story gives America another reason to hate Al Gore.

I never get tired of this clip....stupid Al Gore. But did you go and see Glenn at the movies last week? We did, and it was so cool. We were there with a whole theater of Glenn-heads....totally good times.

I like to think all those parents of the children she saved are thanking her right now. And what a dog! No child ever had a better friend.

wah! this totally made me blubber like a baby. and the fact that she lost to al gore ticked me off. what the freak is this world coming to that they would disregard the goodness of such a woman. but i guess it doesn't matter..the nobel peace prize is worthless up in heaven. but it would have been wonderful to make the world aware of her. so inspiring. thanks for sharing!
