It's Retro, It's Christmas, It's Double the Fun!

I remember actually watching this when it originally aired on TV. (I know, how old am I, right?)

I also now remember why I had (and still kinda have) a giant crush on Donny Osmond. Yow~

Wow, old flames. I hope my cbff-hood with Glenn Beck can take it.

Props to my friend Jeff for the jolt down memory lane!

Sadly, I can't watch the video. I am at work. And I saw the word "Donny Osmond" in the text and ran for my life.

1) I had never seen that before.
2) I've never really cared for Donny Osmond (maybe I was born too late?).
3) I watched it.
4) I really enjoyed it. It was cute and made me giggle. ;)
5) I can understand the crush a little bit now, myself.

Oh! you have to hear my real life encounter Donny Osmond stories. I would email you but I don't know how to get through that maze of security questions about pop servers, etc. Meanwhile, you are entered three times in the contest and thank you so much! Will you please email me at write2me@heidiashworth.com about the blog tour? (I'm excited!)

I saw Donny at the Visitor's Center at the Arizona Temple. He was so sweet (and as cute as ever)

I don't remember seeing that before--too cute.

I don't know that I saw the first episode - but I am sure that we watched every episode we could!

He was and is such a cutie!

Wow, that's new to me. Funny.

That's too funny! He's a pretty good sport having all those gloves drop on his head... I wonder if Marie was the one dropping them?

I kept waiting for him to do some ice skating moves:(
Other than that-loved it.

I almost went out with Donny once. Chickened out completely though. Fun memory Randi. I had a crush on him too. Like I've said though, Marie scared me a little ;)

I hear Donny Osmond and I think "Soldier of Love".

I can see why girls had a crush on him.

Snicker, guffaw, Cringe. Yikes. Born a little too late to crush the guy, but I did watch the show on occasion. Don't remember this bit, but it seems their normal standard. I'm laughing more as I think about it.

Yeah, I'm not really a Donny fan. Like Becky N. (hey, cool name!), maybe I was born too late.

I know, what a helpful comment, right?

I've never really understood the appeal of Donny Osmond- but I guess that's because I only know the old Donny- not the totally cute young Donny.

My favorite Osmond moment- the SuperBowl Pepsi ads they did with the Osbornes.

Love Donny Osmond! And how fun to see little Nicholas from one of my favoritest childhood shows--Eight is Enough. So much classic.

Hmmm....my first concert was Johnny Cash.

My second was Marie Osmond with a special appearance by one of her sons and his Uncle Donny.

I think my parents totally scored.

Too bad CM doesn't enjoy concerts.

In a word: hmmmm.

I once asked for his autograph on the back of a sacrament meeting program in Detroit.

How do you not love the internet when there's stuff like this available at the click of a button?

I had a major crush on Donny, too. I think if you're female, LDS and born in the 60s, you can't NOT have a teensy Donny crush.
