Talk About Insecurity

Does anyone else get nervous when you do the word verification thingie required on some blogs, and you get it wrong? It kinda makes me think the universe is saying to me," Do you really want to say THAT? Seriously, I'm giving you another chance."

Then I reread my comment and change it all around.

Stupid word verification.

Oh Randi. You're so silly. Don't you know you're just not supposed to comment at all when people have word verification? That's what they get for making us go through such troubles.

I suffer comment regret on a regular basis.

Haha. I think it's annoying, so I've taken it completely off of mine. I guess if I get a lot of spam, I'll be putting it on, but for now, it's been no problem. They have been having some fun words they've been spelling out lately.

I do that too!! Sure makes life hard when you are always second guessing comments.

OMH! I always feel like a LOSER when I get it wrong...and sometimes I just KNOW I've typed it right and it just tells me I'm wrong to make me mad...

The frustrations of the verification. I also have redone a few comments too.

I love the word verifier thing, yet, I think it is evil. It purposefully gives you a word so close to an acutal real word you use every day that, subliminally, it tricks you into typing out the wrong word (or right word, depending on how you look at it). Since I already have trouble with the right word (I will mean to type garage and end up with garbage--a totally Fruedian slip, by the way) it makes me feel quite low.

I understand why people have the word verification thing on their blogs--I JUST HATE IT.

I did have to laugh when someone had a post about turkey and the verification word was "baster".

I just like it when it's an actual WORD, especially when it's a bad word. Then I laugh and laugh and laugh because it's hilarious.

No-I just fake swear when it makes me re-type those senseless comments. Grrr.

I hate the comment verification. I pay people to take it off. I'm happier. And poorer.

I hate word verification. It's been put on this earth to annoy and frustrate me. Seriously.

There are times when I know that I've typed the word as it appears and it still makes me do it over.

Have you ever had it tell you the word? The voice frightened me and haunted me for days.

Anyone not liking the word verification thing should come to my blog on Wednesdays I've turned it into a game.

I know what you mean! Sometimes I get words that appear to be cosmically meant to make fun of me, and it makes me laugh so I guess word verification is okay even if those stupid things are annoying :-)

HA! Are you kidding?! I always think that. And sometimes, I take it as truth and just delete my comment all together.
Talk about pressure...

:) It makes blogging take even LOOONGER, doesn't it? Not just the WV but also the redesigning your comment.

Oh this made me laugh! I have had the exact same experience over and over again!

AH! I feel that way too. Like it is some kind of test.

Never thought of that...I just try to make interesting words out of the stupid thing while I'm wasting time on it! ;)
