Why I Don't Want To Put On My Shoes Today

You know that creepy feeling when you find a spider first thing in the morning, and then you're kinda creeped out the rest of the day?

I mean, every time my hair brushes the back of my neck, I jump.

Yeah, I hate that.

Welcome to spring.

Anyway...I hate that. Except, it doesn't happen with spiders. More like, roaches.

I never want to put my shoes on, spring or no.

Oh gross...now you've made me start thinking about spiders and now every black mark on the floor is going to start coming alive. lol

That's the worst. Even worse when you do brush one out of your hair... yikes.

I don't like spiders or any bugs in my hair...but we can squish them, ya know! hahaha
And after the winter that we have had, I will take Spring any way I can get it, bugs and all!
:~D

I hate wearing shoes, period. Just sayin'.

I'm gonna start putting my shoes on real fast, so those sneaky spiders are crushed by my toes before they have a chance to turn around and bite me.

Totally know. I feel that way about ants, too. One time in our last place there was a big nasty one in the bathroom right before bedtime - I don't think I was able to fall asleep for quite some time... Shiver me timbers!

Oh gross. I'm so deathly afraid of spiders. I've kept myself up half the night because I was afraid of them crawling on me... So I definately know how you feel!

I have a deal with all the spiders. If they stay outside, I will allow them to live, if they come in the house, all bets are off.

One of the wonderful things about winter--no spiders which also means NO COBWEBS to clean. Hey, greetings from the Denver airport ; )

Mine is putting on my work gloves! I don't know why but I store them in the garage, and I just know one of these days there WILL be a bug in there!

If you don't put on your shoes (after looking inside them and knocking them together to shake out any critters) you won't be able to squish the spiders! They can bite through several layers of paper towels you know - and kleenex? Not meant for killing spiders, just not tough enough. Spiders aside I'm sooooo ready for spring (summer!)

That's what the little attachment for the vacuum hose is for...inside shoes, wall corners, window tracks, the back of the underwear drawer...

Sorry, I didn't mean to make that worse...

Once I thought I had a dream that a spider was crawling on my neck and I squished it and threw it. Then in the morning I found spider legs in my bed. I was creeped for, like, DAYS about that.

My room is in the basement - think spider haven - I have those sticky bug traps in about 6 places in my room. Spiders are on the TOP of my Things-I-Hate list!! My 3 year old nephew is pretty much obsessed and whenever he's here he wants to see the spiders and insists that I go with him. What did I do to deserve that?

Left a waterbottle on the counter with the cap off for 1/2 and hour.

Started drinking the water, luckily with my eyes open and as I gulped I spied a white spider floating in the bottle- my 3 month old then got a mini-shower as I spit the water out with such speed that the sprinklers were envious.

Now every single article of food in the kitchen must always always always be covered.

Like I needed something else to help me be OCD.

Oooh- I hear ya. We have spiders that have strong looking legs which scare the crap out me. Like they're gonna just jump right across the room on to me. Eew.

My sister used to skip showering for a day or two after she'd find a spider in the tub. I always laughed at her, but I'm that way with worms. Worms freak me out. Luckily, you just don't see that many worms hanging around the house...

Spiders are icky! We have spiders year round here, but spring time means that the black widows are back. :S

That always freaks me out. Or when I find a spider in a certain spot in the house, I'm checking that spot for weeks, because I'm totally going to find one there twice.

I get that feeling when people start talking about lice! :0

The good news about spiders, and, one has to admit, there can't be much of that, is that they are "afraid" of people and won't crawl into your shoes b/c they smell like humans. I have no idea why they bite people in light of the above info but there you go.

I heard somewhere that spiders like to crawl into shoes and so if I haven't worn them in awhile I shake them for spiders. My kids think I'm weird....and well, I guess I am!!
