Button, Button, I Need A Button

I've had some people as me for a button. Boy, did you come to the right place - because we all know, I'm crazy for buttons!

But apparently those aren't the kind of buttons my friends want.

Apparently, they want one of those cute little bloggy buttons from my blog to put in their sidebar. (Which is WOW! And thanks, btw) The only problem being that I don't have a cute little bloggy button, nor do I know the first thing about how to create one. And let me just say the internets are not super-helpful on this topic, either.

Go ahead. Google "how to make a button" and see what comes up.

Not super helpful right? Does anyone know of a helpful site?

Once I figure that out, then comes the task of what should be on the button? I'm trying to decide if I'm getting tired of my little chickie.

Any thoughts?

Anyone?

Bueller?

Bueller?

I like the little chickie.

I could use one of those panic buttons though. I wonder who's on the other end of that one and how they can help(?)

So you're wanting to replace the chickie with a button? I don't know; it would have to be some button......

Yeah, check out the html codes on the buttons for cutest blog on the block or hippo designs or aqua poppy designs (I have links to all on my side bar). I know one of those sites - I think aqua poppy has a 'how to' to create headers and stuff, so I would imagine a button would be similar! Good luck!

I think it would be fun to have a button for my blog! (But no one has asked for my button. So I don't really need one!)

Summer of www.summersnook.com does custom projects like blog templates and buttons and whatnot. I just haven't got the artistry to pull it off myself . . .

I'd have to go with the chicken--it's so cute.

Not that you haven't already gotten like 3 offers, but I can make you a button - - just tell me if the chick is dead or what... Personally I find the little fluff ball adorable, but you could shock everyone with something entirely different....like a duckling or something...

First of all, the baby chicken has become quite an icon. I don't think anyone will begrudge you if you gave it up, but it may be a while before we get used to it. I mean, how would you feel if Silly Saturdays no longer led off with Uncle Rico?

That being said, if you chose a new mascot, I nominate Trogdor.

You can see his story here.

Looks like you've got lots of options, but I think I found a step-by-step here:

I am finally going to cross the line from stalker to friend. i have been meaning to do so, but I have three young boys (enough said right?) there is a chance that i have already introduced myself and have forgotten, to which i will still use the same excuse. i live in show low az, moved here from southern ca. i found you on salty's blog ( i don't know her either-and this is making me sound even creepier than i thought). my husband works for our church. I just wanted to tell you that you are hilarious. it is nice to come on here once in a while and laugh a little-usually after the boys are in bed. thanks for sharing your talent.

Hey! It's been a while... sorry I've been so neglectful!

I'm so excited about the prospect of you having a button! I have no idea how to make one, but I hope you'll be able to figure it out! I love buttons! And I like your chickie, too!

not that what i think really matters :-) but I think you should keep the chickie. It's sort of your trademark. when you see it you think JustRandi, just like the golden arches is McDonald's and the swoosh says Nike. Good luck with the button problem :-)
