Where In The World?

Guess where I am today? I'll give you some hints.

1) They just barely got access to wireless internet. Literally. Yesterday.

2) You can't drive there. You have to hike, go by mule, or helicopter . This is me and my mom getting ready to go in. No that is not our stuff. If that was our stuff do you think those cases would be anything but Diet Coke? Exactly.

3) It's the last place in the US that still uses mules to deliver the mail. Dusty, dusty mules.

4) And the falls are spectacular!

I've heard of people hiking that but I never had a desire to do it. But now that you say it has internet?? Well then, I guess I might have to reconsider.

The Grand Canyon and my husband will be so jealous!

I wonder if you'll hook up with a rogue native American boy, as did Bobby and Cindy. Remember to keep a flashlight handy, in case you have to sneak him some beans.

Havasupi, of course! I heard the falls were damaged by the floods?

I should have let Allan tell you the story of his first experience at those falls--when he was a young (yes he was young once) Scout leader and almost killed all of his Scouts.

Have a great time. Beautiful pictures.

Havasupai! My favorite place on earth! I will say, however, it looks REALLY different since the flood...

That looks like what I would guess the Grand Canyon to look like. . . except I don't see a big canyon in your photos.

I want to go down there. I don't want to hike down and I don't want to hike up so keep that helicopter handy for me.

That waterfall seriously blew me away.

My guess is that you are somewhere without flushing toilets and is outside the delivery area for Dominoes Pizza.

Am I right?

Gorgeous photo of the waterfall!

I'm dying to know. And part of me is dying to go, while the other half thinks I'd die if I did.

My husband took his scouts there two years ago... before the flood damage. They LOVED it!

I totally want to go and my Mother in law is dying to serve a mission there. She thinks it would be so awesome to live in that little canyon away from everything and everyone.

I was wondering, did you take August off? When is the next post coming?

The trip looks fun. I'm pretty jealous of that helicopter ride.
