Things I Don't Want To Do When I Have a Migraine (Or Pretty Much Ever)

  1. bungee jump
  2. watch and/or listen to Nancy Grace
  3. anything that starts with d and ends in ishes.
  4. Stay on hold with my health insurance company.  (You people realize you need all the friends you can get right now, right?)
  5. work on homework.  (It would be one thing if it was my OWN homework...)
  6. tell my daughters' friends to pull their pants up.  (Seriously.  Get a belt.)
  7. see any kind of a spider.  (adrenalin rush + migraine = very very bad)
  8. think about seeing a spider.  (see above)
Yeah.  I think that covers it.

In other news, the All-State Choir Concert/Rehearsal Weekend was amazing.
.... beautiful, talented, enchanting and extraordinary.

The rest of the choir wasn't bad either.

I agree with you on all but the first. I bet bungee jumping can cure migraines. I mean, I didn't have one after I jumped. I didn't have one BEFORE I jumped either...but still, it could help.

Guuuuurrrrl I've had a migraine for about 4 days now and what I don't recommend is taking a little something from the neighbor.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the choir stuff.

So, the only thing I could think of was "what other words start with a D and end in ishes?" in attempts to post something funny.

Danishes is all I could come up with. :)

Totally with you on #2. As far as #3--well, I'm kind of going through withdrawals ; ) (You'd need to read my last post)

    Congratulations to the choir.

Hear hear. Add changing diapers to that list and you have my life (except my kids' friends pants fall down for different reasons, and they usually just show some Huggies or Spiderman underwear.)

Dervishes? As in the whirling kind? ;) Yeah whirling would aggravate the migraine.

I agree with all of them. As for number 6, telling a teenager to pull up their pants is futile. If their girls the belts won't help because everything is low rise. If their boys, they make a half hearted effort to appease but have pretty much reverted to toddler, "Woohoo my pants are around my ankles and you get to see my under roos" thought processes. Hope the head starts to feel better.

Ooohh... I'm sorry you have a migraine. Never a good thing... you need chocolate. I'm pretty sure of it.

My list would include every single thing except curling up on my bed in the dark. Your list is very good too, though.

Maybe for your daughter's birthday party or something you could give out belts for party favors?

Sounds like you should get the pants song from American Idol on CD for your daughters friend :)

And migraines are the worst, sorry :(

Amen on #2, I'd like to add Sean Hannity to the people I never like to listen to, especially when I have a headache.

If I wasn't LDS I think I'd develop a drinking game revolving around each time Sean mentions Reverend Wright.

Re: #6. I assume you are talking about the boys who think their jeans Don't belong up anywhere near their butt. That drives me crazy, too. CRAZY! Has to be hard to walk around that way all day, and be so restricted like that. I mean, what if they were about to miss the bus and have to, say, RUN? Heaven help us!

Do you watch American Idol? You need to start singing the "pants on the ground" song.

I'm lovin' #3 - you crack me up.

The pants thing is a bit much, the cops love it, makes it a lot easier to chase them. In my day it was the mini skirt, so there's improvement on the modesty front.

So sorry about your migrane. I've never had one so I can't really empathize.

I was in All State Choir in Utah a few times. Just your mention of it makes me miss it!
