I have to have something else to read! I'm 3rd in line at my house to read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, which means I won't get it until about Tuesday.
In the meantime...
About 2 weeks ago, I ordered some books on half.com. I was SO excited. I ordered 3 books, and I paid like .18 cents for 2 of them, and then about $7 for a popular current book. I was so excited to get them for basically the price of shipping and handling.
The problem is, they have supposedly shipped a week ago, and I'm still waiting to see them. I went to the website today to see what the heck?! And apparently they are still within the shipping window, so I can't even start a tracking form for another week.
It's my mistake, really. See I thought that the "half" in half.com referred to the price. But I was obviously confused. Maybe it would be more aptly named halfayear.com or halfmybraincells.com or halfthetimeittookJKRowlingtowritea750pagebook.com.
or whatever.
I'll let you know if I ever get them. Has anyone ever read Twilight by Stephanie Meyer?

Yeah! I just read Twilight and it's now being borrowed by a friend. I was on the Library's waiting list for a month or two. It's a good read! Definitely meant for the teenage set but fun!
I'm 20-something on the wait list for #2 and I'm on the list for #3 as well!

I love bargain books. I have Twilight but haven't gotten to it yet. I've heard all good things about it (and it's sequel New Moon).
Thanks for stopping by my blog ;-)

Ok ladies - I'm looking forward to these Stephanie Meyer books! I'll let you know!
Yes! Twilight is an amazing book--totally gripping, and some great characters. I never thought I'd read a vampire book let alone like one, but this story had me hooked.
**UPDATE**
The books finally got here. As I suspected, we're now into the feasting part of the "feast or famine" cycle.
I'm about halfway through Harry Potter right now, so Twilight will have to be the dessert.
The whole waiting in line to read HP& would not fly at our house. We had 3 books and an audio book floating around opening weekend. We are just that dorky-dorky about Harry.
hey, i happened to read that "twilight" book. i think i'll try another, thanks
