This is NOT a Weight Loss Blog

Seriously. And I'm going to get off that topic now.

Well, maybe just one thing. Don't tell anyone, but I hopped on the scale at the gym this morning. I promised myself I wouldn't weigh again until Monday. But the scale was there, and I was there, and well, you do the math.
No! I'll do the math and tell you that I'm down 3 pounds. Thank-you twice a day workouts.
Shhh-- don't tell.

Now I'm going to be really mad on Monday if it's the same, aren't I?

Oh well, I'll let you know. Right here on my Not A Weight Loss Blog.

Also, this is NOT A Political Blog.

But I did attend a Team Mitt meeting last night and it was pretty exciting. I really think he's the guy to set the economy straight. And I'm more than a little worried about the economy. And securing the border. That's all I'm saying.

Informal poll - who are you thinking about voting for and what is your biggest issue?
We can do this without being nasty and name calling, right?

I like the subliminal messages on your 'non-weightloss blog/non-political blog'.

I can't talk politics w/o being nasty. Sorry. No but seriously, I'm leaning towards Mitt; and not because he's LDS (if anything some of his responses to questions regarding religion have been disturbing). But I like him as a candidate. I think he's a guy that can get things done. I also like that he's willing to do something about our immigration problem (most candidates aren't even touching it).

I can tell you that I won't be voting Democrat; never have, most likely never will (nationally). Sorry, but I think all these candidates are out of touch with our needs (and with reality, frankly).

Politicy talk without being nasty and name calling? Now THAT, I'm anxious to see!

Oh good, I'm glad we cleared up the blog intent.

I think I'm voting for Mr. Mitt (seriously who named that kid??) I think his ideas and priorities match mine closer than other candidates, but you never know how things can change by NOV.

When we lived in Oregon one of Neil's classmates told us we weren't entitled to have an opinion about US politics since we were only "guests in the country." He told Neil off for not liking what was going on in Iraq. Yeah. That was fun. Thank heaven we never liked the guy or it might have hurt. =P

Yay for the weight loss! I just came back from grocery shopping and the house is now seriously stacked with healthy food. Woot!

Let me get this off my chest right now--I'M SO JEALOUS!!! I think in 9 or 10 days, I'm down 1 pound. Yikes!!! Maybe I better go to two a day workouts!!!
(See, I did that without being nasty or any name calling--except calling myself a jealous old bitty!!!)

If I were voting in the U.S. Mitt would have my vote. Although I would have to spend more time watching and reading to be sure I was well informed!

I hate politics. Always have. Just like I hate history. Blech. Anyway. I took a little survey thing on the internet that told me who I should vote for based on my stand on different issues (I forget where, so don't ask), and it said I should vote for Huckabee. So that's probably who I'll vote for. But I'll be sure to read the voter's pamphlet before-hand. That's what I base all my votes on.

I'm still out on who to vote for, but I did watch Mitt's "Faith in America" address and it helped to answer some questions I had as to why he was so reticent to talk about his faith.

As for the the weight loss...Yay!!! I'm impressed! But I don't think I could do twice a day workouts, unless of course I had my computer hooked up like you do, then...maybe!

What? There's an election this year? ARE YOU SURE? I had no idea...
Honestly, I hate politics. A LOT. And so I refuse to participate in your non-political blog ;)
Congrats on the weightloss! WOOHOO! I have been working hard, but Hubby has the scale at work because he's in a contest with his other co-workers. Nothing like some cold hard cash to motivate you ;)

Congrats on the weight loss. It is so nice to see that some common sense--eating better food in lower quantities-- is making a difference. I just hate to hear how people loose weight on certain diets, just to see them gain it all back when they go off. You can do it!

Congrats on the weight loss too! It is really tough to lose weight in your middle age-i know this--took me all last year to lose TWENTY pounds. THE WHOLE YEAR

Anyways, I like Mitt too-he looks the most presidential......

I am a registered Republican. However, in our Primaries I will be voting the Democratic line ~ AGAINST Hillary. I haven't made up my mind as to who I like, but I know who I DO NOT LIKE and that's Hillary.

Good job on the weightloss. I just talk about it, whine about it, and sit at the computer in my too-tight pants.

You rock!!! Congrats on your hard work paying off.

I wish I had a clue who I was voting for. I'm still trying to get to know the candidates. The debates hurt my brain. Thank goodness I have a little time left.

I'm voting Democrats, probably Obama. The reason should be clear if you read my latest post :). Congrats on the weight loss!

To whoever asked, I think Mitt's real name is Walter or Wilbur, I would go with Mitt over either of those...apologies to any Walters or Wilburs who might stumble upon this non-weightloss and non-politics blog.

I'm sorry, I'm unable to discuss politics without being nasty.

I can, however, tell you congratulations on your weight loss! Now that's something to get excited about!

yea, you'll never see me create a bloggy called "so grateful to be a ____ political party"! ha

I'm a registered independent. I'm wavering between Obama and McCain. I would never vote Mitt in a billion years. But I respect your right to do just that, of course.

Congrats on the weight loss :>

Congrats! 3 pounds is awesome! I've lost 2 pounds this week so far - only 50 more to go!

You rock, girl! Great job on the workouts and weight loss! :D

(Don't worry about the middle age thing...I lost 40 pounds in 4 1/2 months the year I turned 40, by careful eating and twice a day workouts. It's horribly difficult, but possible!)

I'm a Republican through and through! I like Mitt, but as Lauren said, I need to dig a bit deeper. Once we get past the primaries, I will support whoever gets the Republican nomination.

Lippy said...

Congrats on those lost pounds!

Hmm, politics...I absolutely have not come close to making up my mind yet. I don't know why, nor do I know if that's a good thing orr bad thing. I have to keep watching and reading.
