Tray Chic!

Isn't this a great tray? It's painted metal and about 17 inches long. I love the color and I love the design. As they say in France... "Tres Chic!"
I wanted this tray. I mean, when I saw it, I knew I desperately needed this tray.

And now that I have it? I can't remember why.

Oh, I still think it's beautiful. I just don't know what to do with it.
Anyone?

Fill it with all your Valentine love notes.

Give it away. If you haven't found a use for it yet, you probably won't.

Wedding present?

mail and keys. OR, you could pretend you liver in a model home and after you make your bed in the morning, place it at the foot, slightly askew, just to be pretty.

And you could always hang it on the wall.

Send it to me. ;) I love the color red and it's exactly what I've been looking for to put on my counter for fruit...or you can just use it on your counter for fruit. Is it big enough. Where did you get it?

* mail collection location
* hats and gloves collection
* holder for kitchen towels
* holder for ketchup packets
* keep library books in it
* wrap it up and give it to yourself for Christmas in 11 months
* find an empty spot in your home and use it for decoration
* use it as a decorative manger at Christmas
* collect newspapers you don't read in it
* on the underside, tape the key corresponding to your ultra-emergency, ultra-exclusive, locked chocolate stash

My first thought was a mail holder.

You could put crunchy brownies in it and take it to your next enrichment night.

Very pretty indeed. Hmmm....I think that tray is just begging for some cookies.

Get some differing sizes of pillar candles and some little pretties, like those clear, flat, marble-y looking things, and display them on a coffee or end table.

Fruit is my number one choice!

I suggest a fuzzy Jesus or two. J/K. It is way cute. I think you should stick it on your counter for everyone who comes to see.

Candy. Every tray on every table in every house should have candy.

Or, you know, you could do something fashionable with it. But I still vote for candy.

If it were still December I would recommend filling it up with fancy ornaments. But it's not December, and I don't have any ideas for January.

Mindyluwho and I must be sistahs, because she said my planned comment almost word for word! :)

Please send it to me...it would make my daily bananas look so much more exciting and fancy and stuff! ;)

All fantastic ideas.

Now I'm thinking I need another one. Or two.
I mean, with Janelle's list alone...
I can't believe I've gone all these years without a ketchup packet holder!

my daughter is sitting on my lap, and she didn't read the last post nor did I read it to her. I asked her what you should do with this tray and you know what she said...."put butter on it!!!" she happens to be the child to whom I was pregnant with when I ate the butter...thought it was note worthy and you'd get a kick out of it...
