The Waiting Game...
Well, the physicals are done, the interviews complete, and the paperwork was sent in 3 weeks ago. We are watching the mailbox every single day to find out where Buddy will be serving as a missionary for the LDS Church.
In the meantime, my brother came up with these guess maps. Fun, huh? Family members all got one guess in the USA, and one international.
Oh it's hard to wait!

Very fun maps! We did something similar when my brother got his call... except we were bad and made root beer float bets! Can you imagine? Betting on a Mission call! We're horrible :)

my nephew just got his mission call yesterday - it took six days to get from SLC to Arizona. It finally arrived on the day he had his wisdom teeth pulled and was practically in a coma. They finally aroused him enough to get him to open the envelope, and hope that he remembers it! Good luck!
oh-we were doing this EXACTLY one year ago, Actually Elder Steve had just barely gotten his call. You are never prepared. I was totally shocked.....he's in Nashville TN speaking SPanish.. be prepared for that....there are Spanish speaking missions EVERYWHERE! Wouldn't it be awesome if his call had one of the last ones Pres. Hinckley signed???

oh, how exciting! and nerve wracking. i remember when my husband got his call... the day that i left after visiting him and his family. he got home from dropping me off at the airport, got the mail on the way home, and there was his call. humph. way to reject the future wife. LOL!!

My son Ty only wanted his family to be there when he opened his call...but when it came in the mail, he got so excited that he started calling a bunch of people to come over! That was the quickest we have ever put together a party! ;)

i don't really know, Buddy, but many have gotten calls to California lately, so I'll guess California.
