It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
Well, it wasn't really either one. I've just always wanted to start a post like that.
The weekend was actually pretty mundane. Isn't it great to have one of those every now and then?
We continued our discovery that getting a missionary ready to go is like herding cats. Every time we think we have something crossed off the list, something else mysteriously re-appears back on the list.
Out of stock, wrong color, wrong size...
I'm sure it will all work out.
The only disturbing thing about my weekend? I seem to have developed a pattern of waking up in the middle of the night wondering frantically how I'm going to get everything done. But then in the morning I can't remember what it was exactly I was so worried about.
Sheesh, I hope I at least make some progress on whatever it is I need to get done today.

I am sending good "accomplish things" vibes your way. At least someone should be working and getting things accomplished and it might as well be you.
So you're saying I'm not the only person who wakes up in the middle of the night in a panic and then tries to rack her brain the next morning to remember what was so earth shattering at 2:47 am?
herding cats. that's a perfect description of my life.
Ah yes, I remember those days. As much as I love shopping, I got pretty darn sick of it. It was sooo hard finding skirts and dresses a missionary could wear. So many things to do, so little time.
Good luck.
It is a good thing they have a firm date to enter the MTC or it would take another two years to get them ready.
All the best,
No help here... but if you are awake between 3-5am pacific time know that I am too! We'll be awake together.
I hate waking up with that feeling. I do that sometimes too... maybe you and I need to keep notebooks by our beds... then when we wake up, we can write the thing down and then happily drift back off to sleep!!
LOL @ Stacy
Best of luck to you and Thank you for getting your missionary ready on time :)
I couldn't believe how much there was to do to get them ready. Sorry you are not sleeping through the night ; ) I know it doesn't feel like it, but you will get it all done!!!
Get a notepad to put by the bed so you can write those things down in the middle of the night. Of course it will have to be a glow in the dark pen so you don't wake up your hubby :o)
I am sorry you are so busy getting your son ready. If it makes you feel better, I know how you feel...except I don't fal asleep at all...I lay awake worrying how I will get this wedding done!
Good luck getting it all done! I guess blogging might not be the best way to accomplish that, tee hee! ;)
