Life is Good

Because Deadliest Catch is back with Season 4. I don't know what it is about that show that is so compelling. I don't even like seafood all that much. I mean, I like it fine, I just don't go gaga over it. But the Show. Is. Fascinating.

Discovery Channel - - - - Tuesday nights.

I have to agree--I don't watch it on a regular basis, but when I have seen it, you're right: It's fascinating ; )

I've never been able to watch it because in both of the only two episodes I ever tried to watch, people puked on camera. I just can't handle that. I know I'm wussy, but if they'd just cut out the puking (not like it furthers the storyline!) I'd be set and I could enjoy it too and join in your conversations!

Anyway, first time here. It's very nice to meet you!

We love this show too. I don't usually catch it on it's first run but will eventually see it in a rerun. I couldn't even stand up on that boat much less do something.

I don't know why I like it so much either. Maybe because Phil reminds me so much of my dad. My husband and I record it and watch it together. I thought it was rotten the way Jonathan was acting toward his son for wanting to be there for his wife and baby.

I've never watched it, but it sounds really fascinating! I'll have to try to catch it this Tuesday.

Never heard of the show......

And if it conflicts with American Idol, that would be problematic....

Hey, I'm going to combine topics.

The title of this post: "Life is good."

Title of your last post: "Driving."

Well, how about Joe Walsh - Life's Been Good to Me So Far?

Come on! Get that one line in your head - "My Maserati does one-eighty-five; I lost my liiicense, now I don't drive!" - you'll never get it out.

Baw-baw-baw-baw-bawt - baw-baw-baw-baw-bawt-bawt.

(That's my poetic license with the guitar chord.)

my claim to fame (well, actually, my husband's claim to fame):

He met and talked to Sig and got a full-on tour of the NORTHWESTERN this week! It was awesome.

Sig smokes like a double-chimney (duh), swears like a sailor (double-duh), and (per my husband's description) the boat looks totaly rusty like it's going to fall apart.

I wish I'd been there with him!!!

I'll have to look for that one. I haven't seen it, but it looks interesting. I have to say I'm not crazy about that ginormous wave heading for the boat, though.

I keep winkingly telling my boss who likes to leave his family on a regular basis to go out "hunting" and "fishing" that he better be very careful about what he "catches."

Now if they would just return "Friday Night Lights" my TV viewing experience would be complete.

My husband and my boys (16,8,6) live for Tuesday nights! This show and Dirty Jobs are their all-time favorites.

I love seafood! It's my favorite! :)

Too bad I'm too much of a cheapskate tightwad to let my family have cable TV. :(
