When's the Blogging Time?

I don't have a lot of blogging time today. I'm officially Buddy's mission companion until he gets to see the Stake President and gets released from his mission.

Can you believe that they don't actually build in daily blogging time to the standard missionary schedule? I don't really know how they're supposed to function without that. Probably has something to do with faith and the extra blessings of being a missionary.

Last night went GREAT. We had a fun homecoming at the airport, a wonderful family dinner, and then Buddy shared a spiritual message using a lot of the ASL he's learned. It was really wonderful.

After the girls went to bed we got a chance to talk and just reassure him that we're very proud of him and the difficult choices he's making, and as long as he feels like he's right with God, we're happy.

Things are good.

**Blogging while your companion is in the bathroom is an interesting way to limit your online time for the day.

Glad things are going well!!

Yes.... I'm not sure how one is supposed to function without connection to the online world. Poor missionaries, they really have it rough sometimes!!

How fun, being a stand-in companion. I'm glad you found some time to update us. And I'm glad things are going well!

Thank goodness. I'm so glad for you and for him and happiness and love clouds are swirling madly!

But I don't get it. I know several missionaries who keep a blog instead of writing tons of emails on p-days. It should be a requirement! Think of all the time they save!

happy, happy days!

What a wonderful perspective. I know this will bring peace and comfort.

Too funny about blogging while he's in the bathroom :-)Maybe you should write to the mish department on the advantages of blogging as a missionary tool :-)

I'm glad you have some peace and perspective on the whole thing. Not every mission is completed when you are 19/20 and there are many ways to serve.

I <3 you.

No blogging on a mission?! What?! Insane. :)
That's awesome that he's learned some ASL. I would love to learn some, too.

Sounds like things don't feel quite so out of control anymore. I'm glad.

Bummer about the limited blog time, though. You really ought to take it up with the Mission Prez. :)
