Depends on How You Look At It

Oh yeah, I'm out of town visiting my parents, and as usual my plans for posting while I'm gone have flown away like little unicorns on the breeze, leaving me wondering if they ever really existed, or if I just dreamed them. (the unicorns, not my parents...)

Also, I'm pretty tired, so I don't really care that that sentence probably made no sense.

I'll be back to (*cough*, *cough*) normal next week, and I'll look forward to seeing whether or not you survived the election. Last night after the results came in I was frankly a little worried about the world ending during the night, but the sun really did come up this morning.

I'm still trying to decide if that's the good news or the bad.

We'll just say that I was hopeful about the results, but not enthusiastic.

Save up lots of fun blogging stories about your parents.

Unicorns can fly?
One more reason I'm glad they're extinct.

Hey, the sun's gonna come up tomorrow too, and the next day and the next day and the next day...

Can't let it get you down too long. I'm grateful today that I didn't wake up to President Elect Hillary Clinton. Could be worse, imo.

Cheers :)

I'm going to have to say that I would actually rather have Hillary than Barry. I know Hillary has Bill as baggage (among her other not-so-likeable qualities), but BO's baggage could fill a gymnasium.

The sun didn't come up for me. We had a random nasty snowstorm. A sign?

I totally survived. And I might possibly live out the entire four years. We'll see.

I'm glad I'm not Barry. He can have the job and good luck to him. (shudder)

I'm not in the depths of despair the way I was yesterday...

The sun didn't come up here either. There was a horrible storm on election night with snow the next morning. It matched my mood.

You should try cleansing breaths... it works for me :)

That's funny about the world ending - you could have totally hung out with my husband and discussed the details of our final moments on earth. Maybe you still can, like on the night before the pres-elect is sworn in (because, apparently, that's when it's REALLY going to end.)

i like that his initials are BO. appropriate. i am trying to be optimistic about all of this. glen beck has helped my keep it all in perspective. i just hope bo surpasses my expectations. (which won't be too hard)

So google reader just recommended your blog to me.

I've never actually clicked on one of those. Turns out that google reader knows what it's talking about.

Ah, the election. I admit, I cried. I held out hope for a miracle. Turns out America liked Obama's brand of hope better. I'm waiting till Jan. 20 before I decide if I will move out of the country or not. :)
