Freudian Slip?

Naaaaah. Just a cute kid with a picture that makes me laugh out loud ever time I see it.

Best Christmas picture I've seen on the internet this year!
Thanks to NCS and her Silly Saturdays!

That is so darling. How does that manage to be so darling? It's also quite evil. :)

Whoa! This is too weird--just yesterday, my 13 year old daughter called me Satan (instead of Santa) and I said, "ha ha Freudian Slip!" And then I had to explain to her that, no, I wasn't referring to some kind of encounter with a banana.

Too funny!
That looks like something Max would do.

Very funny! (But I must admit I am a tad disappointed it wasn't written by one of your own kids...)

I have block letters spelling Santa that I put on top of the TV in our family room every year. When my sons were teenagers, one of their friends was fond of rearranging those letters when I wasn't looking. Sometimes I didn't notice for days, and I've often wondered what visitors thought as they sat in our family room at Christmas time, nonplussed by the supposedly religious family that was giving a holiday shout-out to Satan.

Hee, hee! Sometimes I love Satan, too, because I'm pretty sure he was the brains behind trans fats and refined carbs. What can I say? I like Oreos.

OH wow. HAHA.

When I read your post title, from my blog, I thought it said, "Freudian Ship."

We have stocking hangers that spell "SANTA" and Jeremy loves rearranging them to spell SATAN. Real nice holiday spirit...

This kid truly understands charity. If she can love Satan, who is, in fact, our BROTHER after all, then she is certainly going to SCORE with presents under the tree this year!

I don't know....maybe she really does love Satan.

Did a double take. Didn't see it at first. HA!

that's hilarious. I once had a kid in primary roll around on the florr chanting "I love Satan, I love Satan"...it was Christmas time, so perhaps the poor child was just confused.

that's funny! And... it could seriously be anyone of my kids in that picture and be the total truth!

Most of the songs just don't work if you use Satan in place of Santa, do they?

My favorite part of that picture is the contented look on that little darlin's face, :)
