Post-It Tuesday!

I pretty much love this idea of  Post-it Note Tuesday.  It fits those little things I want to say, but can't really write a whole post about!   If you want directions on how to do it, click on the button above! ( and thanks Chief for linking it up.)

A girl in my 11 year old daughter's primary class was wearing a Bumpit last Sunday.
I had a very difficult time not laughing every time I saw her.

I am now craving a cherry limeade.

At social gatherings, Guess Who's Wearing A Bumpit can really pass the down time.

i heard one mormon chick postulate that the bumpit was used primarily to hide the wearers horns...

I've always just preferred to grind mine down

These are great!
Did you know they are currently trying to pass a bill which would not allow Doctor owned hospitals!!

Has anyone really even heard about this? Nope, because they are trying to quietly pass it through.

Um... about the dress. Acutally, I'm not even gonna say it.

I want Sonic.

Brynns told me she wanted a Bumpit yesterday. "But you have to buy it cuz it's only for 18 year olds" says the 4-year old.

I have never been to a Sonic... what do they do for Happy Hour?

Hey! You have a week to work on the dress. I made Mandy's dress (every year) and one time right before her date arrived she decided it was too plain. Would I please make a lace overdress to cover it. In the next hour. Luckily they were eating dinner here at the Wild Cafe so I had a little more than an hour. This involved running to the store for fabric, cutting out an entire dress, removing the neck and arm facings and yadda, yadda, let's just say I finished it. On time. Holy Crap kids who think you're older than dirt and way dumber than they are sure have high expectations when desperate. You have a week, piece of cake.

I love the little post-it notes. I"m going to steal the idea, k?

Yvonne said...

Can I steal it???? Much better than posting status on FB.

I have total faith in your being able to remake the homecoming dress.

Thought of you every time I drove by Sonic when I was in Utah.

Nathan said that last week in Primary his teacher was talking about the peer pressure and asked the kids.... "if my friends invited me to go to happy hour, would it be okay if I went?" The kids were sooooo confused, trying to figure out what's wrong with going with some friends to Sonic?? LOL That's the only happy hour, they've ever heard of.

I'm thinking of moving back to the lower 48 just so I can participate in Sonic's happy hour. I think it would totally be worth it.

I hope my family is okay with that.

Wow. You have great handwriting. :)

This is fun! I think I'll have to try this next week.
Glen Beck is your BFF... so, of course you can't listen to him enough! That's what a good friend does... listens!
Good luck on the dress remake!

I can't get enough of Glenn Beck. Though, after yesterday's show, I just felt ill (not because of him, of course; merely from what he talked about). Say, can you make some post-it notes to send to some of our Congressmen? ;-)
