Epic Road Trip - Day 1

There are some technical difficulties, but I'm posting our Epic Road Trip - Day 1 video anyway, because this makes us laugh out loud every time we watch it.

For some reason, when it rendered, it left out some pictures -- all those black spaces are supposed to be pictures - ie the jackalope. Can you believe they refused to ride it for "sanitary reasons"?

They wondered how many kids have peed on it, and it was known as the "peeing jackalope mom tried to make us ride" from then on.

Pansies.

My favorite line?
"Don't touch that light saber."

There are some names in here - shhh - don't tell.

No diet coke--AND YOU ARE STILL SMILING. I can see this is going to be a GREAT trip. Glad you are all together. Have a ball.

I don't think I would have gotten on that jackalope either.

Love the video. Can't wait for more.

I love it! Can you make a slight detour and pick me up... I totally wanna be in the middle seat!

It's rare for me to disagree with you, but I think the best part of the video is the headphones up the nose and the sound getting louder on the music. I think I'd very much enjoy a road trip with you!

Your road trip is so much cooler than ours was.

I can't believe she threw away your diet coke.
You should have whacked her with the light saber.

Why are you traveling with a light saber anyway?

LOL! Reminds me of the road trips to volleyball tournaments with my daughter, her teammates and their moms.
Now that I think about it ~ it was always the girls rolling their eyes at us. Hmmm

So fun though. :)

I'm glad to see you didn't neglect packing the light sabers.

I think that my favorite part was the soundtrack...

That was THE song from my junior year of high school I think. I love it.

I don't smile if someone throws out my innocent Dr. Pepper. I bow to the Queen of Mothers.

I laughed when I got all confused about a third girl being added miraculously to the car. They're multiplying!

And I love that bye bye bye is the song. You are too funny. What a great MOM :)

"I've never put them up my nose." Favorite line.

I've been stalking your blog for a while now because you're SO funny.

I had to comment on this--and I have the FLU. That's how important it is to me. I just thought you should know that I'm watching you for ideas on how to raise my girls when they're teenagers. No pressure or anything.
Thanks for being so funny.

P.S. You guys are beautiful. And funny. It's hardly fair. :)

Hey, that's my daughter's name, too! You don't run across it very often in people under 40 years of age but I love it. She's making peace with it, I think--the little lamb jokes in grade school were such a trial.

I must say... your girls made me laugh... a LOT.
