Training Injury

Well, we're 5 weeks away from my marathon. Which means that I've just finished the hardest week of training. I figured out this morning that over the last 7 days I've run 52 miles. I'm tired, and I'm crabby. Thus I'm trying to avoid any and all contact with other humans.

I'm so lucky, because as of right now, the worst "injury" I have is this:

It's my Gatoraid Blister. Seriously, I've opened enough Gatoraid bottles this week to actually get a blister on my middle finger.
And why is that particular brand of sports drink SO HARD to open? I've thought about writing them a letter to ask what the deal is. Maybe I'll show them my middle finger.

But not today. My only goal for today is not to poke anybody's eyes out.

Wish me luck.

Ok I was totally freaking out when I saw your title! Gatorade is a pain to open, but I haven't ever gotten a blister.

Draw from your inner strength I know you can overcome. I find that when I am hurting if I just sit down, relax and have a Gatorade I feel much better. You might consider it.sesgso

Sorry about the Gatorade injuries. That's rough. I think you should show them your middle finger ;-)

haha that's too funny. I open gatorade five-six days a week and have yet to get a blister from it. Maybe because my hands are covered by a towel..
