Searching For... what now?

I've noticed an interesting pattern in the google searches that lead people to this blog.
Recently - like in the last 2 weeks or so, there have been a disturbing number of people in other countries searching for the keywords: French Military Victories.

Apparently, if you go to Google and type in the afore mentioned key words, this post of mine pops up at #12.

According to my statcounter, in the past 2 weeks I have had no less than 10 different urls in different countries land on this past entry. Germany, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Netherlands, Canada, and 3 different urls from the UK.

This can only mean one of two things.
Either France is getting ready to take over the world, and the sleeper cells are all gathering military information.
Or, there are lots of people who see humor in French history. Not just Americans.

The only other search that brings in more people right now is Charlie Bit Me. Only most people are searching for "charlie bite me" or "charlie you bit me" or "charlie bit me again" or "charlie you bit me bite my finger" or the grand poobah of searches - "ouch charlie! charlie bit me and that really hurt, charlie bit me and it's still hurting".

And I'm thinking- if you already have the thing memorized....

I'll never understand the internet.

Okay, how in the world do you find out where all the hits on your blog come from? And how in the world do you even know you are getting hits on your blog if people don't leave comments?

Dahlink - you need a statcounter. go to statcounter.com and install the free one on your blog.
Then plan to sit for hours a day (the first week or so) clicking on the refresh button because all the different things it tells you are so interesting.

I get a lot of hits from people googling Superman pics. I have one or 2 posts with Superman pics because of Taj. Although the other day someone googled the name of my 3rd grade boyfriend...

hey girl,

also, come over to my bloggy and see my daughter's prom pics from last night. she is so cute and happy.
