Ok, Here's What I want To Know...

Which stall in the ladies room gets the least traffic?

I'm betting that  most people use the second one, because they think that most people will use the first one. Which is why I've recently switched to the first one.

Which one do you use?

Ha! My friends and I were just having this conversation. I remember on Oprah that the first stall is the cleanest, because most people don't use it, but now that it was on Oprah, I'm sure it's the dirtiest!

I always worry about which one has the worst stall door gap. I hate seeing the crowds from inside the stall.

I usually go for the last one, unless occupied, then for the cleanest one with a door that latches properly. It's so awkward when one has to lean over to hold the door closed while on the throne.

I'm a second stall user...but now you've got me thinking about that and maybe I'll have to switch it up.

oh gosh. well i Was using the second stall, because I remember you told me one time that it was the cleanest, but that makes sense, that other people would think it was the cleanest as well..... But I think that the people who are worried about which stall they use due to cleanliness are probably the same people that use the seat covers more, so the 2ed one is still probably the best bet? or maybe the 1st one, since that is what they said on Oprah... oh gosh... holding it might just be the best option.

I usually go for the biggest stall because I have kids with me and I have to attempt to trap them in there.

I have to say I love the new toddler seats that hang on the wall! They are so convenient.

The second or the last...if those are taken the cleanest one. But now I'm going to have to switch it up maybe!!!

I am totally a second stall user, but not anymore! haha

I have never thought about it, I think they are all dirty and one wouldn't matter above the other. lol The only thing that I DO notice or care about is BIG gaps between the door and the wall in the first one...no thanks. lol

Size matters. I just need something I can fit three children in and still get my pants down.

First stall. :)

I bring an extra pair of shoes to work. Every day I put a different pair of pants on them and place them in the stall I like. Then I lock the door and slide out. That way I know the stall has been completely unused, and ready for me.

That's exactly what I read years ago. The first stall is usually the least used--so that's where I try to go every time!

I usually go to the second one, but if it doesn't look too nice, I go to whichever one looks the cleanest ; )

But I like your thought and now will go to the first one.

I have done extensive research on stall cleanliness.......they say most cleaners start with the first stall, and usually spend the most time cleaning that stall so the first stall is the cleanest.

But the BEST THING EVER is the family bathrooms. I LOVE THEM. Plenty of room for all 5 of us! And even a little potty for the kids. I LOVE places that have a family bathroom that you can lock everyone in, and no stall peek a boo! :)

So I'll apologize in advance for my children that peek under the stall.

seriously, having debated this myself I use the second to the last one. I figure it's not first, second, or last.

I go for the handicapped stall. It's the easiest to navigate with the baby and all of his acoutriments.

I always use the last one. Mostly because I watched a scary movie when I was a teen and every time the girl went into any stall, but the last one she died. Yeah - totally illogical, but subconsciously that's what I do every time.

I'm a last staller myself. Or the handicapped one...cuz I'm claustrophobic. (Why feel confined in a small stall when the bigger one is available?) I also like to be away from all the traffic, which usually occurs near the first few stalls.

I generally use whichever one is not occupied.

I hold it til I get home :).. but if I have to choose, I pick the cleanest looking one.. ewww!

I have never thought much about this. Ha ha! I generally pick the one that is not directly across from the sink-you know, someone might peek or something.

I am a last stall user. And it's totally about cleanliness, but I have never thought that most people might have the same mindset!

So many years of trying to find the largest one for myself and 4 little kids generally led me to the last one. :) And since habits are hard to break....that's still generally where I end up. :)

First one... :)

I used to use the second one, for the same reason, and then switched to the first one after what they all said. Now I use neither the first one nor the second, because everyone else is switching off between those two!

Em-Cat said...

Definitely the first because I think the same thing as you do!

i feel guilty, but i love the handicap stall. my kids can fit in there with me!!!
