Conference Cliff Note Winner!

Because it just tickles me for Sister Dibb to take a contemporary phrase and give it a gospel meaning.

Also because it makes me laugh out loud to think about hanging this on my wall:

I chose this quote sent in by Beckers!  Congratualtions!  And I promise to mail your FABULOUS prizes in the next, you know, couple of months.   (kidding! gosh!)

(In case you missed the talk, she was referring to the Iron Rod.)

And thanks to everyone who sent in quotes, whether it was one or many, I loved them.

One thing I especially love about conference is how different phrases stand out to different people.

It fascinates me that with an audience of millions, each individual listener can hear exactly what they need in their lives at that very moment. And it happens over and over again.

I definitely heard some things this time that I will be going back to study and ponder and work into my life a little better.

Thanks again, everyone.

Congrats to Beckers--it was a fabulous quote.

I agree that each of us hears exactly what we need--I heard so many things that I know were meant just for me.

Thanks for hosting this again. I loved reading everyone's thoughts.

I loved that quote too! I also love how the spirit speaks to us individually with what we need at the time. Congratulations Beckers

Get a Grip. I couldn't believe someone used it when I heard it, but I had to laugh. Truly appropriate.

That was my favorite quote too! I think I'm going to text to my kids when they are out and I want them to remember "who they are and what they stand for"...
